We believe in promoting diversity and equal opportunities for all which is exactly why our team had to reflect this. Our diverse team is made up of people from all different ages, backgrounds and experiences. Most of whom had previously struggled to find their place in the working world. We provide a supportive and structured working environment to help develop and grow each team member, both professionally and personally, in order to help them discover their full potential. All of our team are hardworking and keen to learn whilst passionate about delivering an amazing customer service experience, one scoop at a time!

We have trained our team to have excellent customer service skills whilst also educating them on what makes the perfect gelato. We get all of our staff to try our gelato before every shift so feel free to ask them for their favourite flavour recommendations. They will be happy to tell you all about what they tried and which combinations work well.

Mrs Whippy gets her first Ice Cream Van!

It all began on a cold Christmas morning in 2001, when Mrs Whippy’s husband Kevin surprised her with a present like no other – a clapped out ice cream van that was more scrap-heap challenge than vintage darling.

Work began on renovating the ice cream van to get it up and running to Mrs Whippy's standards. 


Little Miss Whippy becomes a Whipette

Katy's daughter Georgia had been studying radio production at the University of Westminster, having completed her first year. That summer Mrs Whippy broke her leg and Georgia came to the rescue. She helped out at local events, weddings and learned the ropes on the local rounds.


By the end of summer, Georgia had gotten a taste for the ice cream world and when combined with how completely homesick she was, she decided to leave uni to become an ice cream lady and join the family business - Little Miss Whippy was born!

From Strength to Strength!

Since 2013, Pinks Vintage has gone from strength to strength and has managed to upscale their fleet. Pinks have grown from one clapped out old ice cream van to two gorgeous vintage style ice cream vans called Terence & Patsy and one traditional British 'Pashley' tricycle called Rosey. To accompany this growth we also have an ever expanding team of staff we like to call the Pinks Family.

Recent years have seen Pinks Vintage win multiple awards including Customer Service Award at the Southern Business Awards 2018, Customer Service Award at the Chichester Observer Business Awards 2018 and the Marketing & Promotions Award at the Arun Business Partnership Awards 2016. Katy a.k.a Mrs Whippy was also awarded ‘Mobiler of The Year 2015/2016’ at the Ice Cream Alliance Awards in 2015 whilst Georgia a.k.a. Little Miss Whippy was awarded the 'Guido Morelli Rising Star' Award at the National Ice Cream Competition 2019.


The idea for Pinks Parlour is Born

When Georgia and Katy were coming up with ideas to expand the business once more, they knew it had to be something with a social conscience that encapsulated the values and high customer service standards of their already successful business.

After spending a number of years being active members of the Ice Cream Alliance and leaning from a number of the ice cream industry's leading experts, the idea for Pinks Parlour was born.

The mother daughter duo then spent the next 4 years trying to find the perfect location whilst gaining even more gelato knowhow before they found the idyllic seaside spot that is 18 Waterloo square, Bognor Regis.

The Girls are off to Italy

Now that Georgia & Katy had found the perfect location for their new ice cream parlour, they had to make it come to life. The girls would settle for nothing less than the very best for their customers and wanted their parlour to be quintessentially British with an Italian twist. To stay true to this, they decided to have their entire counter handmade in Italy with the finest materials. They flew out to Asisi to hand pick all the materials and be involved in the design down the very last little details. They may have also enjoyed a scoop of delicious Italian gelato or two whilst they were out there.... purely for research purposes on course!

APRIL 2019

The hard works begins...

18 Waterloo Square was a building that had been derelict for a number of years and required some well needed TLC to get it back looking it's best. Once the building work was completed in April, Georgia & Katy received the keys for their newly refurbished building and got to work turning it into the beautiful ice cream parlour that you now know as Pinks Parlour. Over the next two months, a team of hardworking and enthusiastic individuals were recruited, the counters were fitted and the ice cream lab was put to good use!

The Grand Opening of Pinks Parlour,

The doors of Pinks Parlour Bognor Regis were flung open to the community of loyal supporters and new customers on the 24th May 2019 and that's where the story really begins. Our team, primarily made up of people who were considered furthest from the employment market, strive to deliver an amazing customer experience whilst serving our delicious homemade artisan gelato. Pinks Parlour are giving back to the community by getting people back into work and supporting our local economy by trying to use suppliers and source products which are made as local to Pinks Parlour as possible. Come down and visit us to try some of our yummy treats and watch the gelato being made by Mrs Whippy herself in our Ice Cream Lab! We are open 9am-7pm daily with cosy and spacious seating indoors and outdoor seating in our courtyard for those who love the sun.
